President Solih receives a parting call from the Pakistan High Commissioner

Vice Admiral Ather Mukhtar, the Pakistani High Commissioner, bid President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih farewell.

The High Commissioner of Pakistan, H.E. Vice Admiral Ather Mukhtar paid a fair well call to President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih. 

The President thanked the High Commissioner for his earnest efforts and dedication to strengthening bilateral connections between the two countries during the meeting held in the President's Office.

President Solih and the High Commissioner recalled the evolution of cooperation and the dynamics of bilateral ties. Additionally, they discussed the development of inter-group relations, health, travel, and economic cooperation.

The topic of improving commerce and tourism cooperation was also discussed during his visit.

Additionally, President Solih also enquired about the post-recovery afford from recent floods. The High Commissioner provided an update on the situation and thanked the Maldives government for its support and kind words.

The President and the High Commissioner expressed optimism for furthering the development of relations in the years to come as the call came to a close.
