Bank of Maldives has announced the winners of BML Hackathon
Bank of Maldives has announced the winners of the BML Hackthon 2022 during the closing ceremony of competition held last night at Hotel Jen.
The winning ideas are:
1. Digital onboarding submitted by Ahmed Mahfooz, Hussain Zayaan, Moosa Irushaan
2. Expense Tracker submitted by Mohamed Athik Ali Riza, Fathimath Areen Naseem,
Mohamed Yaniu Rameez
3. Personal Finance Manager submitted by Mohamed Jailam, Ibrahim Hussain Shareef,
Mohamed Eeman
The Hackathon's focus was on creating "Banking Solutions to Improve Customer Experience." In order to create cutting-edge fin tech concepts and solutions to improve operational excellence and customer experience, more than 30 participants participated in the 48-hour Hackathon.

The winning teams would be working in the Bank’s Innovation Lab to develop their winning ideas over a period of six months with monthly allowance of MVR 20,000 for each team, private office and Long-term maintenance contract of the developed solution.
