The presidential candidate for Jumhooree Party (JP), as well as the party's leader, Qasim Ibrahim, has vowed to produce 100 millionaires in Maldives during the first 5 years of his presidency.

Speaking in the ceremony held to hand over JP's presidential ticket to Qasim, he revealed his vision to expand the small to medium enterprises (SME's) and some of the important concepts included in his manifesto regarding this.

Accordingly, Qasim stated that in his presidency he would spend 3 Billion Rufiyaa on SME's and produce 500 small businessmen. Then he would produce 100 Millionaires in the 5 years of his presidency.

Despite Qasim being active in politics for many years, JP's advisors have been describing him as one of the smartest businessmen originated in Maldives.

The leaders of JP have also been stating that having built his business by his own work, and the way he has been maintaining his businesses till now, deserves praising, and that it's beneficial to bring him to power just by looking his management.

In addition to this, JP have further stated that Qasim has always given special attention to and has been working to build people. 

Numerous people have highlighted that this pledge made by Qasim under his economical policies is so far the most unique promise made by a political leader.
