Former President Mohamed Nasheed and President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih have cast their vote in the ongoing voting for the MDP Presidential Primary Election 2023. 

Candidate number one, former president Mohamed Nasheed cast his vote at Jamaaluddin School. While candidate number two, president Solih cast his vote at Iskandar school. 

Voting is set to proceed until 5 pm on Saturday. A total of 57,255 members of the main ruling party are eligible to vote in the ongoing election. 

As president Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and MDP's leader Mohamed Nasheed goes toe-to-toe in the highly anticipated MDP presidential primary,  several heated exchanges have been directed from both sides during the campaign.
