One of the most important things that needs to be provided to people with disabilities is to ensure that services based on their condition are made available from the locality in which they live. In order to provide this service, we have so far trained people who can serve through community-based rehabilitation programs in four atolls. Apart from this, the government is also working on providing financial assistance to differently-abled persons and children. The financial assistance program for therapeutic treatment is also continuing uninterruptedly. Even with the launch we launched this evening, the delivery of the above-mentioned assistance will be made more efficient and service delivery will be many times easier.
