EPA to investigate the oil spill into Presidential Jetty
The Environment Protection Agency (EPA) has said it has launched an investigation into the black oil spill inside the Presidential Jetty.
Local authorities have claimed to receive reports of a black oil spill on Monday morning at 09: 10 am. Authorities have stated that the black oil spill was fully cleaned up with the help of the Coast Guard.
In response, EPA director Ibrahim Naeem told local media that EPA would investigate the following case in collaboration with local authorities. He further explained that he believes the following oil was left behind by a vessel.
EPA has recently been working on multiple cases with the agency not being able to make any progress.
