MWSC unveils enhanced mobile app offering smarter, simpler utility services
In a move set to redefine how utility services are delivered in the Maldives, the Maldives Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) has relaunched its mobile application with a suite of new, user-friendly features aimed at improving service accessibility, transparency, and efficiency.
The upgraded app was officially introduced at a launch event attended by MWSC Chairperson Ms. Shamhooza Ahmed and Managing Director Mr. Abdul Matheen Mohamed, along with members of the Board and Management.
The launch marks a major milestone in MWSC’s digital transformation journey and its alignment with the government’s "Maldives 2.0" initiative, an ambitious program to modernize public services through advanced technology.

Secure e-Faas Login: Users can sign in through the national digital ID platform, offering both convenience and enhanced security.
Automatic Meter Linking: The app automatically identifies and links all meters registered under a user's name upon login.
All-in-One Service Hub: Customers can apply for water and sewerage services, track application status in real time, and make payments all in one place.
Smart Meter Integration: Daily water usage data, consumption patterns, and predictive billing help users manage and control their utility expenses.
Bill Request with Photo Upload: Customers can submit current meter readings and photos for instant bill generation.
Multi-Bill Payments: A new multi-pay option allows users to pay single or multiple bills, including for different accounts within seconds.
Account History Access: View up to one year of billing statements directly through the app.
The app, available now on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, merges the functionality of the previous MWSC mobile app and e-portal into one streamlined, responsive interface.
