Aasandha services have resumed at India’s Manipal Hospital after being suspended for several months, according to updated information from the Aasandha service provider.

The provision of Aasandha services at Manipal Hospital had been halted in June 2024 amid concerns over high billing rates, with discussions underway at the time to reduce costs.

At present, Manipal Hospital has reappeared on the official list of overseas medical centres approved for Aasandha services.

It has been learned that Aasandha services at Manipal Hospital have been reinstated for a three-month period.

Prior to the suspension, patients had raised several complaints alleging that the hospital charged fees beyond the rates approved under the Aasandha scheme.
