14 year old boy travels alone to Male' on stolen speedboat to save friend from alleged violence
A 14-year-old boy from an island in Meemu Atoll embarked on a daring journey to Male' late Tuesday night, commandeering a speedboat from Cinnamon Hakura Resort with the reported aim of rescuing his friend from a situation of alleged violence.
According to reports, the boy set out on the stolen speedboat, navigating through the night to reach Hulhumale', leaving behind concerned family members who had reported him missing.
Subsequently, the crew of the missing speedboat filed a separate complaint regarding the vessel's disappearance.
