In a significant move aimed at bolstering the nation's infrastructure, the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has inked a pivotal agreement to construct a cutting-edge warehousing complex in Hulhumale'.

The project, slated to be completed within a span of two years, will feature state-of-the-art technology including an automated warehouse management system.

The agreement, formalized between HDC's Managing Director, Ibrahim Fazul Rasheed, and Zhou Weidong, Managing Director of the Chinese company Rotime Engineering Technology Co Limited, marks a milestone in the development of Hulhumale'.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Rasheed emphasized the transformative potential of the complex, heralding it as a revolutionary advancement in the industry.

The warehousing complex is set to revolutionize the storage landscape by offering specialized units tailored to accommodate various products, including cold storage, industrial warehousing units, and consumable storage spaces.

Additionally, the facility will incorporate a showroom area and office space, catering to the diverse needs of businesses in the region.

Rasheed further highlighted the significance of the complex in facilitating the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), providing ample storage space and fostering an environment conducive to business expansion.

The initiative underscores HDC's ongoing commitment to streamlining services for citizens and promoting economic development.
