In a groundbreaking development, the Maldives Investment Forum in Dubai has garnered immense support, signaling a surge of interest from potential investors looking to partner with the Maldives. 

Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed, in a press interview given in the UAE today, disclosed that the Maldives Investment Forum, initially scheduled for a 250-capacity hall, has experienced an extraordinary response with 280 bookings and additional commitments pouring in.

Minister Saeed emphasized that this robust participation underscores the growing interest in collaborating with the Maldives and investing in the nation's promising opportunities. 

The forum, he stated, presents a golden opportunity to attract significant foreign direct investments, showcasing the global appetite for engagement with the Maldives.

Acknowledging that not every attendee may choose to invest immediately, Minister Saeed highlighted the importance of showcasing investment areas, demonstrating the keen interest of potential investors. 

He underscored the pivotal role of the forum in presenting the Maldives as an attractive destination for foreign investments.
