In a statement shared on his official 'X' account to mark the International Day of Women in Diplomacy, President Dr. Muizzu expressed pride in the Maldives’ role in championing the resolution that led to the day’s formal recognition by the United Nations.
He emphasized the need for greater acknowledgment of women’s critical contributions to foreign policy and reaffirmed the government’s dedication to promoting inclusive leadership on the global stage.
President Dr. Muizzu described the day as a vital opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women diplomats and acknowledge their role in reshaping the international landscape.
