Children with autism are also talented to benefit the country: President Dr. Muizzu
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu emphasized the importance of recognizing the talents and potential of children with autism, stating that they possess valuable skills that can contribute to the nation.
In a message shared on social media platform "X" to mark World Autism Day, President Dr. Muizzu reaffirmed that every Maldivian child is significant and holds great value for the country.
He further stressed that it is a national responsibility to extend care and support to children with autism, ensuring they receive the love and attention they deserve.
World Autism Awareness Day, observed annually on April 2, was established by the United Nations in 2007 to promote understanding and acceptance of autism.
The day serves as a platform to raise awareness about the condition, advocate for the rights of individuals with autism, and encourage societies to create more inclusive environments.
