President Dr. Muizzu extends Eid greetings to leaders of Islamic nations
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has conveyed heartfelt Eid al-Fitr greetings to the leaders, governments, and people of Islamic nations on behalf of the Maldivian government and its citizens.
In his messages, President Dr. Muizzu expressed hopes that the joyous occasion would serve as a moment for reflection on the spiritual significance of Ramadan and the core values of compassion, unity, and generosity.
He concluded his greetings with prayers for Almighty Allah’s boundless blessings, wishing prosperity, happiness, and success for the leaders and people of Islamic countries.
The Maldives is set to celebrate Eid al-Fitr tomorrow following the Islamic Ministry’s confirmation of moon sightings in several Islamic nations.
While Saudi Arabia and the Maldives have declared Eid for Sunday, other countries, including Malaysia, Brunei, Australia, Indonesia, and Bangladesh, will observe the occasion on Monday.
