The Maldives has once again been nominated for six prestigious titles at the 2024 World Travel Awards (WTA), including the highly coveted “World’s Leading Destination” accolade.

These nominations highlight the Maldives’ continued prominence as a top global destination.

Alongside five nominations for the destination itself, the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) is also in the running for “World’s Leading Tourist Board 2024.”

Voting for the World Travel Awards is now open, and Visit Maldives is encouraging everyone to cast their votes to support the Maldives.

2. Register with a valid email and confirm your registration.

3. Select the "World" region and vote for the Maldives in the following categories:
