Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP), the opposing party, has decided to provide legal aid to those who are dismissed for political reasons.

In a statement released today, the party claimed that employees of government companies and the civil service who oppose the government or President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu are being threatened and dismissed because of their political views.

Therefore, the party has asked employees who are politically dismissed or taken action for political reasons and need legal assistance to email to [email protected] or Viber all job related information to 7341637 as soon as possible.
