"Maaharaa" portal, created to allow healthcare recipients to share ideas and complaints, was officially launched today.

Developed with the support of WHO, the platform was inaugurated by former Health Minister Dr. Aiminath Jameel during a special event held to mark this year's World Patient Safety Day. 

According to the Ministry of Health, the portal will enable patients to express their concerns and highlight areas within the healthcare system that need improvement.

This initiative also aims to create a space where both service recipients and providers can collaborate to enhance the quality of healthcare services.

World Patient Safety Day, observed annually on September 17, serves as an opportunity to raise awareness and strengthen relationships between patients, healthcare providers, policymakers, and other stakeholders involved in healthcare.
