The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has appointed Aishath Hameed and Abdul Sameeu Imad as new members of its Board of Directors today.

Their appointments come following the resignation of MMPRC Chairperson Aisha Nurain Janah in May and the departure of Rafil Mohamed, the Maldives Association of Tourism Industry (MATI) representative, in April.

Ibrahim Shiuree was recently appointed as the Managing Director (MD) of MMPRC, succeeding Fathimath Thaufeeq (Kudi) who was dismissed from the role earlier this year.

The MMPRC, tasked with promoting tourism in the Maldives, continues to undergo leadership changes amidst its strategic responsibilities.
