The decision to extend aid to Gaza reflects a significant step for the Zakat Fund, marking its first endeavor to support individuals outside the Maldives.

Dr. Shaheem highlighted that this humanitarian effort aligns with the guidance of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.

The aid comes at a critical time as Gaza continues to endure the repercussions of Israel's attacks, which have resulted in numerous civilian casualties and displacements since October.
