During a session of the 'Raees ge Javaabu' program, President Muizzu addressed inquiries regarding the potential for salary increases for government employees.

In response to a question posed by Ali Shafiu from Fuvahmulah City regarding the disparity in pay raises between police and other sectors, President Muizzu assured that salary hikes would be extended to all sectors as the economy strengthens.

Acknowledging the recent increase in salaries for the defense sector, President Muizzu emphasized a commitment to broadening these benefits across all areas of the workforce.

I have pledged that as the economy improves, salary will be increased in all the sectors in the country. Now, salary has been increased in some sectors including police and military, and with God's will, this will be done for other areas as well
