BCC launches "Dhivehinnah Iskan" social media campaign to promote Maldivian products
In a bid to bolster the demand for authentic Maldivian products and elevate their presence in the market, the Business Centre Corporation (BCC) has initiated the "Dhivehinnah Iskan" campaign on social media platforms.
The campaign was officially launched yesterday with the support of Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed.
Scheduled to run until April 16th, the campaign aims to encourage participation from residents across all islands of the Maldives.
The initiative seeks to highlight the unique offerings of local Maldivian products and foster a sense of pride in supporting domestic businesses.
The BCC has outlined the process for individuals to engage in the campaign, which involves gifting an environmentally friendly bag produced by the corporation.
Recipients of the bag are encouraged to further the campaign's objectives by gifting a Maldivian authentic product to another individual.
Participants are urged to capture moments of gifting and receiving, tagging both the BCC and the local Maldivian business from which the product was purchased.
Additionally, social media posts are encouraged to include the hashtags "DhivehinnahIskan" and "Supportlocal" to amplify the campaign's reach and visibility.
The "Dhivehinnah Iskan" campaign represents a concerted effort to promote local entrepreneurship and showcase the diversity and quality of Maldivian products.
By harnessing the power of social media, the campaign aims to spark widespread engagement and appreciation for homegrown businesses, ultimately contributing to the growth and sustainability of the Maldivian economy.
