Ibrahim Mafaz appointed as the fourth Deputy Commissioner at Maldives Customs Service

The Maldives Customs Service has welcomed Ibrahim Mafaz, a seasoned veteran with 27 years of service, as its newest Deputy Commissioner.

Mafaz's appointment marks the fourth addition to the Deputy Commissioner lineup within the current government's term.

In an official statement released by Customs, it was announced that President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Mafaz to this crucial role.

Mafaz's extensive experience and expertise in customs administration are underscored by his attainment of a Master's Degree in Custom Administration from the University of Canberra, Australia.

Before assuming his new position, Mafaz served as the Deputy Chief Superintendent of Customs, showcasing his commitment and proficiency in the customs domain.

Alongside Deputy Commissioners Fathimath Dhiyana, Abdulla Waheed, and Mahmood Riaz, Mafaz is poised to contribute to the ongoing efforts of the Customs Service in fulfilling its mandates and responsibilities.
