Set to take place on March 28, 2024, from 9:15 AM to 1:15 PM at Velaanaage ground floor, MMPRC invites community members and travel enthusiasts to participate in a special Voting Event.

This initiative seeks to engage locals in actively voting for the Maldives to secure top honors at the WTA.

Since its inception in 1993, the WTA has been a pinnacle of recognition in the travel and tourism industry, spotlighting excellence across diverse sectors.

Winning a WTA award not only garners global acclaim but also establishes a gold standard for hospitality.

Over the years, the Maldives has consistently captivated voters and industry experts, clinching coveted titles like Leading Destination, Leading Beach Destination, and Leading Tourist Board.

With nine nominations in contention, the Maldives aims to reinforce its status as a premier tourist destination in the Indian Ocean region.

Attendees of the Voting Event stand a chance to win enticing prizes, including a free-stay sponsored by ITAW Travels, courtesy of the National Guesthouses Association of the Maldives.
