The Democrats House, which is located where the former  official main office of the MDP (Maldives Democratic Party) was, was vandalized by individuals riding cycles who threw black oil onto the premises.

A substantial quantity of the viscous black liquid was maliciously splashed onto the premises, causing harmful damage. 

Furthermore, the name board associated with the Democratic Party was specifically targeted and defaced with the same black oil, making it clear that this was no random act.

This disrespectful act of vandalism has caused damage to the premises, and could possibly be related to issues regarding the lease of the properties, involving the owner. 

The Democrats House serves as the operational hub for The Democrats, the newly established political party that emerged from the Nasheed Faction after disagreements within MDP between its members.
