Former President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has said that there will be no place for police to disrupt peaceful gatherings under his government.

Speaking at an opposition rally held in Ihavandhoo yesterday evening, President Yameen said that there should be freedom of assembly and police should not use force without any evaluating the situation. 

Yameen affirmed that people can gather peacefully during his term and he would ensure that if he get another term.
