Rozaina Adam, member of Addu Meedhoo constituency, has disclosed a video wherein she alleges that Speaker of the Parliament, Mohamed Nasheed, made threats towards Member Ali Niyaz of the Hulhumale' constituency, within the designated area for parliamentary leisure activities.

The video reveals President Nasheed approaching Abdul Mugnee, member of Thinadhoo Uthuru constituency, and informing Member Niyaz that he allegedly attempted to attack him the previous day. Pointing towards Member Mugnee, Nasheed stated that Mugnee made an assault attempt on him.

Following the release of the video, Rozaina Adam stated that Speaker of Parliament Nasheed is issuing threats to parliament members, expressing concerns about their well-being and safety.

He is alleged to be using threats in an attempt to suppress the claims questioning the credibility of Eva Abdulla, the Vice President of the Parliament. It is important to note that the video does not provide any evidence or reference to Eva's case.

Amidst the intensifying case involving Attorney General Riffath, a significant incident unfolded yesterday when a video capturing Member Mugnee's outburst towards President Nasheed went viral.

However, Majority Leader Mohamed Aslam promptly intervened, preventing any physical altercation between Member Mugnee and President Nasheed.
