Maldivian educational technology platform Syllabi has soft-launched Syllabi Exam Prep, a digital practice platform designed to support students preparing for O-Level and A-Level examinations.

Developed around the Maldivian national curriculum, the platform combines revision notes, practice questions, and detailed answer explanations in one online learning environment.

It is intended to give students a structured way to revise independently while receiving immediate feedback on their performance.

Syllabi Exam Prep also incorporates gamified learning features, allowing students to earn points by completing quizzes and compete with students across the country through a national leaderboard.

The feature is designed to make exam preparation more interactive and encourage regular practice.

The platform can be used on laptops, smartphones, and tablets, enabling students to access learning materials from home, school, or other locations.

Its first phase focuses on Islam, with additional subjects expected to be introduced in the future.

Students can use the service free of charge until September 15.

Syllabi has also said that many of the platform’s features will continue to be available free for students after the initial access period.

More than 70 schools across the Maldives are already using the platform, according to the company.

The platform was developed with input from experienced educators and is intended to address the learning needs of students following the Maldivian curriculum.

Syllabi was first established in 2018 after its founder, Jumail, then a CHSE student, and his friends created a mobile application for A-Level Islam.

The initiative later developed into the Syllabi platform, which was officially registered with the Ministry of Economic Affairs.

The company says its long-term goal is to create educational resources that respond to student needs and provide lasting value for future generations.
