Namal Rajapaksa looks to build confidence towards the government
Former Minister Namal Rajapaksa has stated that it is crucial to instil confidence in the populace for the current government.
According to a tweet from Namal Rajapaksa, Sri Lanka cannot achieve any long-term goals without stability. He further elaborated on the importance of instilling confidence in the government.
"While we work towards introducing political & constitutional reform, It is of utmost importance to build confidence among people toward the existing government, its economic & political policies & the rule of Law. We cannot achieve any long-term objective without stability.

His comments come at a time when the political situation in Sri Lanka took a massive change.
Most recently, Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) Leader and Former Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa stated that President Ranil Wickremesinghe has now taken the right course of action in working with them.
Previously, the Former Prime Minister and SLPP had earlier opposed Wickremesinghe as he was the leader of the United National Party (UNP). However, later changed their motive to work with them
