Hawwa Nasra Saeed appointed to FIFA Social Responsibility Committee
Executive Committee Member of the Football Association of Maldives (FAM), Hawwa Nasra Saeed, has been appointed to the Football Social Responsibility Committee of the FIFA.
Nasra will serve a four-year term, contributing to the committee’s efforts to strengthen FIFA’s global social impact initiatives through 2029.
The Football Social Responsibility Committee focuses on advancing climate action and promoting sustainable best practices within the sport.
It also works to uphold human rights standards, combat discrimination, and encourage positive social change, in alignment with FIFA’s strategic objectives for 2023–2027.
Originally from Mahibadhoo in Alif Dhaalu Atoll, Nasra is a teacher at Hiriyaa School and holds a Master’s degree in Education.
Her appointment marks a significant milestone for Maldivian representation in international football governance.
