Maldivian students seeking higher education opportunities abroad can now apply for the prestigious Türkiye Burslari scholarship programme, funded by the Government of Türkiye.

The fully-funded scheme offers students from the Maldives the chance to pursue Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programmes in a wide range of academic fields at universities across Türkiye.

According to the Maldivian Student Association in Türkiye (MSAT), the scholarship provides comprehensive financial support.

Selected students will receive airfare for their initial travel to Türkiye and a return ticket upon completion of their studies.

The programme also covers tuition fees, accommodation, and health insurance, in addition to offering a monthly stipend to assist with living expenses.

Applications for the scholarship must be submitted by 20 February 2026.

MSAT has encouraged interested students to seek further information or assistance regarding the application process through the association’s official Facebook and Instagram platforms.

Türkiye remains a popular destination for higher education among Maldivian students, with many currently enrolled in various academic institutions across the country.
