I don't want to cooperate politically with President Yameen; he's not ok: President Solih
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has stated that Former President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom is not "OK" and there is no political work to be done together.
Speaking at tonight's political rally ahead of MDP's primary on January 28, President Solih said MDP was behind every modern change brought into the Maldives.
He stated that MDP members are brave, and fearless and had overcome challenges they faced with determination.
President Solih further highlighted how MDP was the one who repeatedly suffered burden upon burden, fear upon fear and injustice upon injustice
It is for democracy and for us to run the system in the country on the right path. I am not okay with the injustices and intimidation showed to you in the past and those behind it. I will have no political work with them. President Yameen isn't okay, there's no work to do together
Said President Solih
While President Solih said that Yameen is not OK, speaker of the Parliament Mohamed Nasheed, who is contesting against him in MDP's primary, has praised yameen.
In addition, Nasheed said he would not say so to President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
