Maldives President prioritises issues highlighted by citizens in ongoing community dialogues
President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has assured that his administration is actively reviewing the concerns raised by citizens during his community meetings and will take the necessary steps to resolve them.
Speaking at a meeting with residents of Maafannu ward in Malé City, the President stressed that addressing public concerns remains a top priority for the government.
He noted that Maafannu, being the most densely populated part of the capital, continues to face significant challenges that require dedicated attention.
The President stated that every concern, idea, or complaint shared by residents is taken seriously.
He highlighted that his office is responding to letters received from the public and that several individual matters have already been resolved.
He also noted that the issues raised range from personal difficulties to broader community-wide challenges.
We are attending to the letters received from the people and working to resolve the issues. Some matters have already been resolved for certain individuals. Many of these are personal matters, and there are also issues related to the society as a whole. Similarly, we are working on addressing issues raised during the two community meetings held in Malé recently,

The President has recently held similar meetings with residents of Vilimalé and the Machchangolhi ward to engage directly with communities and discuss their concerns.
