Telethon begins to raise funds for Sri Lanka; donations open until 1 AM
A nationwide telethon titled “Ceylon Aaeku Dhiveheen” - "Maldivians with Ceylon" has begun, with Public Service Media (PSM) and multiple media partners, including Voice joining forces to raise funds for Sri Lanka as the country battles severe devastation caused by Cyclone Ditwah.
The telethon, which runs until 1:00 AM tonight, features participation from various media organisations, senior officials, and public figures who are taking part in live segments and donation drives.
Partners are appearing throughout the broadcast to express solidarity and pledge contributions to support relief efforts.
