As winter descends on Palestine, an urgent call has been made for support to protect vulnerable families especially children from the harsh cold.

Since October 2023, the genocide in Gaza orchestrated by terrorist Israelis has displaced thousands of families, leaving many without homes or adequate shelter.

Large numbers of people, including women, children, and the elderly, are currently living in makeshift tents or sleeping in the open.

With temperatures dropping and winter conditions worsening, their already-dire circumstances have become increasingly severe.

Infants and many others lack proper clothing, blankets, and shelter to withstand the cold, prompting renewed appeals for humanitarian assistance.

In response, the International Aid Campaign (IAC) has launched its “Surviving Winter” initiative, inviting Maldivians to help provide essential aid to affected families in Gaza.

According to IAC, contributions can be made through the following accounts:

BML Islamic

Account Number: 7770000062740

Account Name: International Aid Campaign

Account Label: Seasonal Projects

MIB

Account Number: 90101555002111000

IAC also noted that the organization allocates an average of 12.5 percent of project funds to cover necessary implementation, maintenance, sustainability, administrative, and developmental expenses.
