A tragic incident has been reported from Addu City, where a married couple was found dead inside their home in Hithadhoo.

Police confirmed that they received a report regarding two individuals discovered deceased within a residence in the area. 
Officers are currently active at the scene as investigations continue.

The deceased have been identified as Ibrahim Abdulla, 60, of Kureynge, S. Hithadhoo, and Farahnaaz Rasheed, 52, of Nares, S. Maradhoo. According to police, preliminary findings have revealed no signs of foul play at this stage.

Authorities confirmed that the two were husband and wife and were residing together in the home where they were found.
