Island Aviation Services Limited has announced an open call for a General Sales Agent (GSA) to represent Maldivian in South Korea, ahead of the national airline’s planned launch of direct flights to the country in 2026.

According to an announcement published in the Gazette, the GSA will be appointed for Maldivian’s A330-200 operations to South Korea.

Interested companies have until September 30 to submit their proposals.

Island Aviation stated that the agreement will be awarded on October 31, with the signing scheduled for November 6.

The appointed GSA will be responsible for promoting Maldivian in the Korean market, leading marketing initiatives, and carrying out flight promotion activities to boost the airline’s presence.
