A foreign worker sustained severe injuries after falling from a building under construction in ADh. Mahibadhoo this morning.

According to residents familiar with the incident, the man is believed to have fallen from the second floor of the site where he was working.

The informant reported heavy bleeding at the scene, noting that the worker had sustained severe facial injuries. He was immediately transported to the local hospital on a pickup truck.

Due to the seriousness of his condition, the injured man was transferred to Malé around 10:30 a.m. for further treatment.

The informant also reported that the worker had been carrying out his duties without proper safety measures in place.

Police confirmed that an Indian national was injured in the fall and said they received the report at 09:29 a.m.

The case is currently under investigation.
