President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has extended warm congratulations to Rt. Hon. Sushila Karki on her appointment as the Prime Minister of Nepal.

In his message, President Muizzu highlighted the historic significance of her appointment as Nepal’s first female Prime Minister, describing it as a proud milestone for the country.

He wished her success in carrying out the responsibilities of her new role.

The President also reaffirmed that the Maldives regards Nepal as a valued bilateral partner and expressed confidence that ties between the two countries will continue to strengthen under Prime Minister Karki’s leadership.
