President Appoints Three New Members to Civil Service Commission
President Dr Mohamed Muizzu on Sunday appointed three members to the Civil Service Commission (CSC).
At a ceremony held at the President’s Office, Dr Hussain Faaiz, Mohamed Nasih, and Dr Dheeba Moosa were formally appointed to the Commission.
The appointees took their oath of office before Supreme Court Justice Ali Rasheed Hussain, after which the President handed over their official letters of appointment.
Parliament cleared the three appointments late last month. Each CSC member serves a five-year term.
Before the new appointments, the Commission comprised President Mohamed Nasih, Vice President Mohamed Mujthaz, and members Mohamed Farshath, Fathimath Shareef, and Fathimath Habeeba. The terms of President Nasih, Mohamed Farshath, and Fathimath Shareef expired on 3 September, marking the conclusion of their five-year tenure.
With his reappointment, Nasih will continue to serve as President of the CSC for another term.
