Maldives and Nepal to enhance collaboration in education, economy, and regional platforms
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and Nepali Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli have pledged to further deepen cooperation between the Maldives and Nepal, with a focus on education, economic diversification, and regional engagement.
The commitment came during a meeting held on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit at the Tianjin Meijiang Convention Centre.
Both leaders reaffirmed the long-standing friendship and robust bilateral relations between the two nations.
Discussions centered on strengthening collaboration in key sectors, including education, economic diversification, and joint participation in multilateral platforms.
Highlighting a shared vision for sustainable development and stronger regional ties, President Muizzu expressed his appreciation for Nepal’s continued support.
Both leaders agreed to work closely to achieve tangible outcomes in areas of mutual interest, signaling a renewed era of Maldives–Nepal cooperation.
