Foreign teacher accused of dislocating student’s finger arrested in Kandoodhoo
A foreign teacher at a school in Th. Kandoodhoo has been arrested following allegations of physically harming a student.
According to police information shared with "Voice", the accused, an Indian national employed at the school was taken into custody under a court order issued on Tuesday.
The incident reportedly occurred after a confrontation in which the student allegedly struck the teacher with a water bottle.
In response, the teacher twisted the student’s finger, resulting in a joint dislocation.
The student required medical attention and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities are currently investigating the matter.
