President Dr Muizzu calls for Modern, value-based education to empower future generations
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has called for an education system that is both modern and grounded in strong values, highlighting its importance in preparing future generations to lead the Maldives with honour and integrity.
The President made these remarks in his message on the occasion of International Children’s Day, emphasizing the vital role of proper upbringing and quality education in securing a prosperous future for the nation.
Describing children as “the peace of every heart and the foundation of national continuity,” President urged parents, educators, and society at large to work together in nurturing a generation that is well-equipped to preserve the country’s sovereignty, dignity, and heritage.
He emphasized the importance of creating respectful and compassionate environments for children, ones that promote good manners, ethical behaviour, and a deep-rooted love for the nation.
The President also stressed the need for education that not only meets global standards but also instills Islamic principles and a strong national identity.
In a message shared on social media, President Dr. Muizzu further highlighted the importance of preparing children to face contemporary global challenges.
He affirmed that empowering future leaders with wisdom and courage would require the collective dedication of all Maldivians.
