The Ministry of Health has announced that seven medical colleges in Bangladesh now offer internship opportunities for Maldivian medical graduates, expanding from the previous two institutions.

The newly included colleges are:

- Chittagong Medical College

- Sher-e-Bangla Medical College

- Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College

- Mymensingh Medical College

- Rajshahi Medical College

- Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College

- Cox’s Bazar Medical College

According to the Health Ministry, these colleges are recognized by both the Maldives Medical and Dental Council and the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council, ensuring their credibility for Maldivian graduates seeking clinical training.
