President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has emphasized that ensuring clean drinking water remains one the most important goals  for the government.

In a post on ‘X’ marking World Water Day, President Dr. Muizzu extended his greetings to the people of the Maldives and international organizations. 

He reiterated the government's commitment to providing sustainable access to safe drinking water across the nation.

The President also reaffirmed his dedication to environmental advocacy, highlighting the importance of protecting natural water resources.

This year’s World Water Day, observed annually on March 22, is themed “Glacier Prevention,” focusing on the impact of climate change on global water security.
