Foreign Minister Khaleel in India for Raisina dialogue, set to meet Indian counterpart
Foreign Minister Dr. Abdulla Khaleel has arrived in India for an official visit, where he is set to participate in high-level discussions and engagements.
Upon his arrival this morning, he was welcomed by Maldivian High Commissioner to India, Aishath Azeema, along with senior officials from India's Ministry of External Affairs.
Minister Khaleel will be attending the 10th edition of the Raisina Dialogue, which will be inaugurated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi this evening. As a panelist in the session titled “Climate Cataclysm: The Adaptation Agenda is Gasping,” he will contribute to discussions on pressing climate adaptation challenges and global response strategies.
During his visit, Minister Khaleel is also scheduled to hold bilateral talks with his Indian counterpart, Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, and engage with other visiting foreign ministers attending the event.
