President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has resubmitted the names of candidates to fill two vacant positions on the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) to Parliament. 

The updated nominations were presented during an extraordinary parliamentary session.

In a letter to Parliament, the President replaced one of his previously prioritized nominees from the list submitted earlier on the 16th of this month. 

The new nominees are:

1) Ahmed Nashid, Ma. Golden Moon

2) Abdulla Nashid, Fasana, R. Alifushi

The previously prioritized list included Asiya Azeema, Rose Villa, R. Hulhudhuffaaru.

The two member posts at the ACC became vacant following the resignations of Vice President Abdul Salam and member Thoha Mohamed in November.
