Police are currently investigating a case involving the abuse of a three-year-old child by a foreign maid brought in for household chores. 

The incident reportedly involves a Nepalese national. Police have confirmed that an inquiry is underway.

This case is among several recent incidents highlighting a troubling rise in child abuse. 

Just last Thursday, a teacher was accused of mistreating a special education needs student. 

The teacher allegedly taped the child’s mouth and tied their hands. 

Following the allegations, the teacher was granted conditional release under a court order while the investigation continues.

In a separate but related issue, reports have surfaced of child abuse in a school on an island, further intensifying concerns about child safety.
