Three foreigners arrested for violence to be deported
Maldives Immigration has initiated deportation proceedings for three Indian nationals arrested following a clash at the Artificial Beach area.
The incident occurred last night, during the night of a weekend, when the area was crowded with families and children.
According to Immigration, the individuals are currently in custody, and authorities have emphasized that no further tolerance will be shown to foreigners engaging in activities that threaten public safety or disrupt social harmony.
The fight was reported to the police at approximately 20:30 p.m., leading to the arrest of the three individuals involved.
This is not the first instance of unrest involving foreigners at Artificial Beach.
On December 6, a similar clash occurred, led by Amrit Singh, who was subsequently deported after a child was injured during the altercation.
