Authorities have recovered the body of a man who fell into the sea from the safari vessel "North 07" near Mirihi Island Resort. 

The deceased, identified as 35-year-old Ali Arshad from Seaweed, N. Holhudhoo, was reported missing last night.

CCTV footage from the safari revealed that Arshad had accidentally fallen off the deck into the ocean. 

Following the incident, a search operation was launched involving the Maldives Police Service and the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF).

Divers from the Coast Guard Second Squadron of the Malé Area Command located Arshad's body at a depth of 69 meters beneath the ocean surface.

The recovery operation was concluded at 15:35 PM.
