Tourism Symposium commences, exploring new growth strategies
Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) and the Ministry of Tourism have started a Tourism Conference at Crossroads Maldives.
Over 150 professionals from diverse sectors of the tourism industry are taking part in the seminar.
Participants include representatives from resorts, guesthouses, liveaboards, local tourism operators, travel agents, tourism associations, and travel media.
The event is being attended by key figures such as Tourism Minister Ibrahim Faisal, MMPRC Managing Director Shiuree Ibrahim, and MMPRC Chairperson Abdulla Ghiyas.
The seminar aims to introduce new segments in the Maldivian tourism industry and will feature a panel discussion along with group discussions.
MMPRC highlighted that the primary objective of the event is to engage with industry stakeholders to explore ways to further promote tourism in the Maldives and to generate fresh ideas and insights for the sector’s future development.
